Join us to discover the many ways in which corporations can address your needs through contributions, in-kind assistance and loaned brain trusts. We’ll discuss how to identify prospective business donors, how and when to make the "ask", the opportunities and consequences of receiving funding from a corporate source, and much more.
Sam Woollard, Prinicipal at Knox-Woollard Professional Management, oversees client management and community education in the Effective Philanthropy Program. Sam’s career includes twenty years working with non-profit, governmental and funding organizations. She has created innovative programs, coordinated diverse public-private partnerships, established community groups, managed volunteers, facilitated community conversations and led groups to community solutions. Her experience with the cross spectrum of health and human services issues and understanding of the needs of both funders and non-profits provide her with a unique perspective. She has a strong background in strategic planning, media & governmental relations, and non-profit accountability.
