Through the Texas CO-OP program, qualifying nonprofits are able to purchase almost anything off of the established state contracts without going out to bid or negotiating. These deals have been negotiated by the professional purchasing staff at the Texas Comptroller’s office which purchases on behalf of all state agencies and universities giving them tremendous purchasing power that allows us to secure excellent pricing. Therefore, qualifying nonprofits have access to the same items at the same prices as state agencies.
