Details for "Leading with Questions - Webinar"

From an early age, we are taught that asking questions is the key to learning about the world around us, however, somewhere on the journey from childhood to adulthood, we stop asking questions. Yet, the fundamental reasons for asking questions (to learn best practices and understandings) don't change; in fact, they become more important as we take the role in leading and managing others.

In this highly interactive thought provoking session participants will be introduced to using questions as a powerful tool for managing and leading.  Participants will have some fun exploring questions that have been life or organizational changing, leave with at least 5 ways to use questions that motive and inspire high performance and resources to learn more about the power of questions.

Speaker Dr. Denice Rothman Hinden

For 25 years, Denice has worked in and with socially responsible organizations in a wide variety of areas, including project creation and implementation; curriculum development and facilitation; market analysis and survey facilitation. She is a qualified administrator of the Organization Team Culture Indicator (OTCI). Denice is a master facilitator and has a deep understanding of group dynamics and organization systems. She has a special capacity to synthesize multiple perspectives, help groups find common ground and get to the heart of the matter to solve difficult problems.

Prior to founding Managance Consulting, Denice served as Program Director at the Development Training Institute (DTI), Baltimore, Maryland. There she was responsible for designing and implementing Project IMPACT (Improving Management Performance and Capacity Through Training and Technical Assistance), an unprecedented organizational capacity building program with Indianapolis community development corporations (CDCs). She also served as director and faculty member of DTI’s Greater Philadelphia Leadership Academy, a program for senior staff and emerging leaders of CDCs. There, Denice designed the curriculum and convened DTI’s first quality assurance/evaluation planning initiative.
