Details for "CEO Responsibilities -- Webinar"

Being "CEO" by any name has the capacity to shape, test and reveal the person behind the title in profoundly unique ways. This program is based in part on Mike's executive leadership experience within and beyond the non-profit sector and his long term relationship with the American Management Association as speaker and "coach" for its week-long Management Course for Presidents. This double-exposure has afforded him the opportunity for in-depth conversations with more than 3,000 "chief executive officers" from a variety of operating environments on "being presidential" at the allegedly "lonely" top. The premise...and the story behind the program...is that leadership is a journey most often begun by accident and punctuated by the unexpected; that leadership has the capacity to shape, test and reveal the incumbent as few other endeavors can.

Who should attend:
  • Nonprofit Board Members
  • Executive Staff
Learning Objectives:
  •  To equip "CEO"s with the concepts, tools and processes needed to "write the next chapter" for their organization and themselves
  • To explore the mindsets that determine CEO effectiveness and the "journey" of incumbents toward the fragile alignment among "behavior, context" and "self" in their role as leader
  • To enable participants to apply these approaches in a program of "continuous improvement" regarding their personal and professional development
