    Speaker Information:

    Mr. Franz B. Ehrhardt is the Chief Operating Officer of CASCA Consulting, L.L.C. He retired in June of 2000 after 32 years of service with Conoco Inc. and a total career of 44 years in the global energy business.

    Mr Ehrhardt's career includes working for
    • the German oil company ARAL,
    • and US-based Marathon Oil Company,
    • before joining Conoco in 1968 as General Manager, Marketing of Conoco Germany.

    Subsequently, he has held various international management positions including

    • Coordinator of Worldwide Marketing,
    • General Manager, Marketing, Conoco Italy,
    • President of Conoco's US Retail Marketing Company,
    • and Managing Director of DuPont Scandinavia.

    Mr. Ehrhardt spent seven years developing Conoco's Downstream business opportunities in Asia and in the Middle East. His last position prior to retirement was President of Conoco EurAsia based in Istanbul, Turkey.
